Visit and Training at TE Connectivity

On October 15th, a team from our Norwegian production unit had the unique opportunity to visit TE Connectivity in Swindon for comprehensive training on COP (Continuous Operational Process) and product awareness. This visit was an essential part of our ongoing development and improvement efforts.

The training covered the entire process of building wire harnesses, from initial designs to the final product. Participants gained valuable insights into techniques like twisting, shielding, crimping, splicing, looping, and terminating 38999 connectors. We also learned the correct use of shrink tubing, crucial for ensuring the quality of the final product.

We extend special thanks to Matt for his excellent training delivery, and to the production team for being outstanding ambassadors for Foss. Their dedication and expertise made the visit both educational and inspiring.

Now Offering Hybrid Solutions

Foss Production in Norway can now offer the market customized copper wire harnesses. This includes a range of connectors, from Molex and Harting to M12 and 38999 types. We can also provide hybrid solutions that combine fiber and copper.

An exciting innovation is our 4-channel 38999 connector, which integrates both power and fiber in the same connection. To enhance field resistance to impurities, we can combine this with EB16 Expanded Beam termini.
