Copper patch cables
Choosing the right patch cable is important for achieving stable, high data transmission, transferring power without excessive loss, and having a link that lasts over time. In recent years, thin cables have become popular. These cables have the same data transmission capacity as thicker ones and are suitable for links that do not require power transmission (PoE++). This is perfect for data centers. If you are going to, or possibly might, transfer power over the link, we recommend opting for thicker cables (AWG 24 or 26). If the link you are using the cables in is shielded, you should also use shielded cables.
